4 plays that decided the game

I’m there were four plays that really impacted the result of this game.

1. The missed sack on the second drive that eventually led to Bama’s first TD.

2. The interception on the out route to Guice.

3. The 3rd and 8 that Hurts fit in between four of our defenders.

4. The underthrown deep ball that Chark still had in his hands. It would have put us at the 20.

Obviously, there were other plays missed, like the first deep ball, but you aren’t always going to be perfect. These 4 plays had the biggest impact on the game and if 2 go our way it would have been a fight to the end. Didn’t think that would be the case. Better team effort than expected.

5. The block in the back that negated great field position.

5th is all of their punts combined, we drove the ball each drive but due to being pinned back every drive, our drives didn't result in any points.

You left out the other 2 deep balls to Chark

There was also a deep crossing route wide open for a huge gain as well.

This was the most frustrating to me. It was so fricking pointless to push that guy in the back.

I agree LSU wasn’t far off from winning this game.

And this is the difference between us and Alabama ... Mental errors! It’s not that Alabama is extremely superior to us or out physicalled us... It’s the mental errors that kill us year after year. How often do you see Saban teams commit a silly penalty like that? And the fact that he was nowhere near the play makes it even worse... how many times do you have to say if you see the name don’t touch? Nick Saban would embarrass them on live tv and knowing that makes them not want to do it!
