Florida, meanwhile, suffers as the value of that Ole Miss blowout drops by the week.

Yet a loss to that same team means nothing for "certain" programs.

The committees mission is pick the 4 best teams. If bama is one or two we certainly could be three or four.

opponents have combined to win 57.4% of their games

Which is impressive given how bad Eastern Michigan and Syracuse are.

I hope SI can stand by that statement on the night of November 28

Miss State beats Bama.
LSU beats Florida again.

Bama wins SEC it will take a few losses above them for LSU. Stanford beats ND and Stanford loses another game - maybe Utah.

That will change after this weekend if they play and coach like last week.

By the logic used by these SI "experts" LSU actually has a better resume than 3 of the top 4. So that SI perspective is incomplete at best.

doesn't really matter. We're not getting in the playoff if we don't even win our division. I'm sorry, but it's just not happening.

Unfortunately, this is probably true. Committee is loving them some ND, Stanford.

All we can do is win out and hope Bama loses another game.

If other teams ahead of us melt down (as in most of them), then there could be a chance. Need the Big 12 to begin cannibalization.

Stanford beats ND but will lose again (Possibly championship game). Utah loses to UCLA. They all end up 2 loss, resulting in no Pac 12 and ND in the playoff

LSU needs to play aggressive football in the next 3 games to put their bad games at Alabama behind them.
I honestly believe it won't happen.

If LSU wins out, they'll be worthy. I'd pick a P5 conference champ with an equal or better record though. If there are only 3 with 1-loss or better, I'd go with LSU as the 4th.

I am sure the REC would love to see Bama and LSU in an opening round game. It would practically be a guaranteed win making it 6 in a row. I would pull for my Tigers to win but I don't see our coaching staff mixing things up to give us an opportunity to make them think during the course of the game.

I really hope this is sarcasm because both of those teams are wretched.
