The only thing I can figure is his size. He isnt as tall as most D linemen if I remember correctly.

4. Perkins

I get that this is just someone’s opinion, but that is huge to have a sophomore ranked #4 when the other top 5 will be selected very early in next years draft.

Perkins for Heisman might be a real thing in 2024 if not this year

ETA: Top 5 is
1. Caleb Williams
2. Brock Bowers
3. Marvin Harrison Jr
4. Harold Perkins
5. Drake Maye

Will be a nice list to revisit after the season. Neighbors is criminally too low.

Putting Bo Nix (#14) over Daniels is laughable

Smith could eat like 40 of the guys ahead of him for breakfast.

Perkins was the most impactful game changer we've seen as a true Freshman at LSU since Mathieu in 2010. In fact, for as good as Mathieu was in 2010, I think you could make the argument that Perkins was even better.

Now Perkins is "nationally" famous and every opponent LSU plays will have him as their No.1 target. After he essentially won the Arkansas game by himself we saw A&M and Georgia do a good job mitigating his impact in those games.

My hope is that he is about to take the same path as guys like Kendal Beckwith and Devin White. Guys with freakish athleticism who played more or less played as situational rushers as freshmen, but then became dominant inside LBs in their second year. Perkins has the ability to be as devastating as White

Those rankings seem better overall, Fashanu at 16 on ESPN is way too low.

I feel like if we didn't have so many RBs that 3 or 4 of them could be on this list as a workhorse, 20 carries a game type of guy.

Nabers and Daniels should prob be switched, although Jaydens wheels are an wire asset for his position but Nabers is a top 3 WR in the country so not sure where the other WR’s are ranked but he seems low

Damn that’s wild. I knew he was great but figured it was more of my purple and gold glasses fogging my view.

Perkins is gonna be all over Jordan Travis week 1. Hoping an Arkansas game repeat performance
