That’s on the runner not the 3B coach when the ball is in front of them. I don’t think Cain is a good 3B coach, but that decision is on Dugas.

Explain to me how I know nothing about baseball?
-bringing in hasty/Fowler in a 2 run game? fricking terrible. PM waved the white flag after an incredible start by Marceaux
-stretching dugas to third when you finally got some momentum going is little league
-if I’m Marceaux I’m literally going to PMs office and asking for a serious explanation as to why you would put in hasty/Fowler after I pitched a hell of a game.

Dugas is used to playing against outfielders who can’t throw in practice so he didn’t think a center fielder could gun him out on that.
