CLM was fired 3 years ago today, what are your feelings as to where the program as a whole stands since that day? Are we better off/moving forward?
I think CEO has laid the ground work to bring the program to a new level, it's now time to take that step forward.

This tread will be 15 pages of rewritten history

But yeah I don’t know how any LSU fan could be anything but elated with where the program is right now

Wouldn't that be glorious? It may be another 3 years before this happens at this rate.

All of the guys who run to these threads to tell us to “just move on” are the same ones who were telling us that it would be a grave mistake to fire Miles and that he was the only thing holding our program together.

Looks like it’s going pretty well so far, we’re as resource-rich and talent-rich as any program in the country and we finally look like it on the field again after almost 10 years

Ugh I’m not going to get swept up in this thread. Have at it

bullshite. I wanted him gone in '07 and was mad about the "have a nice day" impromptu press conference. I never liked Miles as a coach. But, his accomplishments speak for themselves and he could have had so many more if he just would have hired a real OC and let him do his thing.

Miles followed the greatest college football coach our lifetime. He did a great job for many years until his stubbornness did him in, as it has done to many a man in the course of history.

You can’t bury Miles no more than republicans can bury Hillary Clinton. Les is now auditioning for the Michigan job, which will soon be available.

it amazes me how consistently stupid you are. How do you spend as much time on this website as you do but not notice overwhelmingly common takes?

Things along the line of “we’ll return to the 90’s and we never deserved Miles” and “Miles is the greatest coach in the history of the program, we’ll drop off hard without him” were said by literally 500+ posters in that era. Sorry if you’re too stupid to remember? Take your idiot contrarian bullshite to another thread

We are unequivocally better off and I give Alleva credit for finally pulling the trigger, no matter how botched.

If Michigan really wants to move forward and catch OSU....they better be looking elsewhere.....not in the direction of Lawrence fricking Kansas.

I believe after seeing what the offense is doing this year recruiting will hit a whole new level. We have heard former tigers from skill positions to o line saying they wish they could have played in an offense like this. Maybe we can finally start winning those battles for the trenches. Now if we get a bama win that’s the end of bama stealing our homegrown guys. I couldn’t be more happy about where the program is.

I was somebody who was very disappointed with the Orgeron hire. I’m so glad that I was wrong. Regardless of whether I wanted him or not I always wanted him to succeed. It’s awesome to see a Louisiana guy doing great things for LSU! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this program.

All of this is wrong. Like, all of it.

Plenty of posters didn't like the Orgeron hiring, but there are less than 5 that said the Miles firing was a grave mistake. Get that bullshite out of here.

8 page thread filled with posters wanting to retain Miles

you’re deluisional. The majority of posters wanted him gone, but there were still a ton of people who wanted him retained and the “keep Miles we’re gonna regret firing him” crowd would get a lot of upvotes and agreement.
