Buying with a Title in Hand
Posted by MrRooster2You on 5/27/22 at 12:39 pm
May seem like a dumb question but would you be comfortable as a buyer, buying something from a seller that never had the name on the title updated? First owner and current owner have signed the back and everything is as it should be, but name on title still reflects orginal owner.
Planning to sell my camper but I never got the title put in my name. I have the title and all that jazz but wasn't sure if that comes off as odd to a potiental buyer.

ESPN 104.5 vs. Culotta
Posted by MrRooster2You on 6/17/21 at 3:55 pm
Every show on 104.5's lineup is basically saying it's Bianco's job to turndown and that Godwin is the clear backup. Culotta, whom is super connected within BR and LSU, is saying its one of the coaches in Omaha.
How can these parties be so far apart on this?

How does one haggle UTV/ATV prices? I have never bought a new one before and literally everyone has the same listed price.
Any ideas?

The more I look, I feel like I will get more for my price getting a Polaris Ranger. Any thoughts on comparing the two?
Looking for a Honda Dealership

Looking for the "best" dealership to deal with to buy a new SXS. Looking at getting a Pioneer and just want to have an enjoyable experience. I live in Broussard and I am open to anything, I know Natchez and Brookhaven have good dealerships.
Any recommendations?

Low Maintenance Fall Food Plots
Posted by MrRooster2You on 5/20/20 at 1:16 pm
Looking for advice for easy/small food plots. I would consider it a kill plot. No farm equipment at my disposal so no till would be a must.
What plant should I go with, when should I plant, etc.

Here to report everything went smooth and the bike is running better now than ever before. Rode it all weekend at the hunting lease.

Last week had issue with gas pouring out of the drain line, figured the float was stuck (had this issue before). Took it off and cleaned the float "chamber". When I re-installed, gas started backing up into the air box and the crankcase.
Figured the carb has been troublesome and is almost 20 years old, might as well change it out. China Carb, oil, and oil filter are on order and will be changed out over the weekend.
Hopefully, that is all I need.

I am concerned about having to replace all the jets and o-rings. Maybe messing up the idle speed, etc.
My thought is that just replacing it whole, would be easier. Just don't want to invest that much money in a Honda part if the cheaper version is good.

Honda Knockoff Carb for 2003 Honda Foreman

$50 knockoff carburetor or $260 for Honda part
Anyone ever used a knockoff and it went well? I see a lot of good reviews but you just never know.

Turkeys in West Bay
Posted by MrRooster2You on 2/10/20 at 2:01 pm
Looking for some general info/tips for hunting turkeys, specifically at West Bay. I got selected for the Lottery Hunt over there and don't have any good experience with hunting turkeys.
Any GOOD advice and info would greatly be appreciated.
