Who was recruiting coordinator in 2015 and 2016? Who has been head coach since the 2016 season?

Ir appears the criticism of Orgeron was unfounded when you compare the number of players drafted from LSU compared to the number selected from Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, MS State.
10-3 with this group of upperclassmen and against that schedule was very solid - overachieving. 2017’s season was clearly the opposite.

Frank Wilson in 15
Orgeron in 16
But I don’t think you understand the role of recruiting coordinator. The position is tactical, not strategic.

Where are they now?
Several in the NFL. Even then, you're blaming that on Les Miles?

I’m talking about Miles’ last two offensive classes...
The ones that played in 18 and the few that will be left in 19. Offensively, few have contributed very much.

So are you saying that the guys who were “developed” under Orgeron didn’t pan out like the guys who were developed under Miles? You do realize this is the take that someone can take that would be far more legitimate than what you are trying to imply, right? Never mind the fact that several draft eligible guys stayed around who would have gotten drafted.

Negative.
Strategic management charts the course.
Tactical management decides how to get there.
In recruiting, strategic is setting the priorities, tactical is formulating the plan to get the targets that the strategic leader sets.

You have a problem if you believe recruiting coordinators recruit, offer, and sign players. You believe it was the LSU recruiting coordinator who recruited JR and Flynn and not Saban and Jimbo?
Hell we should just offer Saban or Debo's recruiting coordinator and give him a Jimbo type contract.
Problem solved!

Yep recruiting wasn’t miles problem, coaching was. Oh btw it looks like Miles is really tearing it up in Kansas recruiting......not

Do you mean when tug boat and O were working Aleva behind ole Les’s back and got the coaching job.
Yeah I remember when the D line coach and recruiting coordinator stabbed ole Les in the glutious maximus or a tad higher and wound up with all the guys he recruited.

Oh yah... I forgot the recruiting coordinator is the reason teams get or don't get good recruits... yeah right.
Miles had us at the most deficient talent levels since mid Dinardo era. He'd sign 5 WR's every year even though we went 2 TE and 1fullback 50% or more. What a garbage coach.

About like the talent level Miles started with?
I don't think you realize that the need to continually tear down Miles speaks volume to your true intent.

Tactical and strategic are synonyms.

It’s also because we only had 2 juniors declare, where under Miles they were leaving in droves.

Next year our defense is gonna get gutted by the draft.

Its always the same story. If a young guy contributes at a position, its all about O. If O doesnt recruit a freshman that can play right away and runs a few off at a given position, its Miles fault. Its not hard to figure these guys out. The bar was lowered in here the day O took the job.
That Miles guy won it all in year 3 right?

And that is why O is going after some talent. Got to get that talent every year. He is bringing them in, he is getting it done. He is comin' and he ain't backin' down!!!
