who are you talking about exactly? Adam Miller coming off an ACL who was horrible after coming back? Mwani who tore labrums in both arms and never contributed? Or Justice Williams who gave you even less than Miller did? Also McMahon had to fight for all those guys and rerecruit them.
Miller and Wilkinson will be out of basketball soon and Williams transferred to Robert Morris. Not saying they're bad kids at all, but not good basketball players.

Agreed those players weren’t anything special. And I don’t think it’s a stretch to believe that the reason the best players we got in the portal (Dean, Baker, Wright) weren’t that good was likely due to a 2-16 SEC record.
If McMahon can’t get a good portal despite the improvements then he just flat out can’t recruit at a high enough level

That's why I won't be too upset if LSU doesn't improve too much next season. Sure, other teams can get better faster, but MBB is #3 in the list at LSU when it comes to getting resources. Lsu is not Duke or Kentucky.

I get that most people who follow other sports on TD don't really like that guy- but personal dislike aside a good bit of the things he says about basketball aren't wrong.

If next year McMahon can do better in ooc and just as good in conf then you're a dumbass. If he does what he did in year 1 then you're correct.
