This. The fact that he’s one of us is lagniappe.

Him hiring Chris Peterson at Washington and Jimbo Fisher at A&M is what makes him so exciting.

He’s a proven leader that gets shite done and has had success not only at a major P5 school but also at an SECw school.

He’s a fricking home run and a baw.

like the way he brushed off Moscona about the hiring timeline.."I'm not telling you shite about that "

But he didn't say this at all. I wish people wouldnt quote shite that wasn't actually said.

It was more about it being LSUs process and they will have plenty of time to talk later on and on the radio.

It was a nice way of saying, “yes we started talking about it several weeks ago and I told them I was on board as soon as they shitcanned that loser”.

I would take it as you keep after it until the job is finished as well as it can be done

No. He was differentiating between his son being a fly fisherman and performing his skill with patience and precision and he being "a redneck" who was more concerned with getting 25 in the boat.

It was a bit of self-deprecation. He was implying he needed to learn to be more patient and that perhaps there was sometimes a better way to do things than just his way.

You're exaggerating. Just a touch. A tiny bit.
