next season starts LSU would likely be looking at ONE home game vs. a ranked opponent.

Thats not LSU's fault, its just how the other SEC are doing at the moment and how it fell

Clemson at home. Will be interesting to see who SEC gives us at home out of the Texas, Kentucky, Georgia, Auburn, State, Tennessee, Missouri and what they do with the 8th SEC game

A&M is our permanent opp in the 1-7 model so we would play them there

Boring! Why have the exact same SEC teams on schedule as this year? Its a 16 team league; mix it up. Once again they do not play Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, Auburn, Miss. State, Missouri, Kentucky. Crazy, same schedule just switched home/away.

Pretty sure that in reality, A&M is getting Texas as a permanent opponent in a 1-7 model.

No They haven’t announced dates for SEC games, but we’re playing WKU on 11/22

Thanks

While I didn't see dates, I was thinking they were in chronological order of playing.

Nah, we would get A&M unfortunately. Texas would get Oklahoma.

Umm no they aren’t
It’s already been announced-
Texas gets Oklahoma -
That’s why it’s going to eventually be 3-6

What a shite schedule honestly

Agree, home slate blows

LA Tech
Southeastern
Western KY

Zero interest

Arkansas
South Carolina
Texas A&M
Vandy

A&M only game that will get me excited.

Only positive will be traffic. Less crowded for the games.

Has it? I thought the SEC didn’t officially have a schedule format past ‘24 and ‘25. If so, fair enough.

I get that neither Texas nor aTm want to admit that they care about playing each other, but that rivalry is much more compelling than Texas-OU IMO.

That said I agree that 3-6 is the only long term solution that really makes sense.

Having a Jimbo-less A&M, Ole Miss, and Alabama as common opponents kinda sucks. All three likely will have winning SEC records most years and can compete at the top. Would have been nice to have a Mississippi State, Arkansas, or Auburn as one of our 3.
