2022 Offense shaping up to look really good

Myles Brennan back in action in his 12th season with the tigers.
The additions of Campbell + Frazier + Shorts + Jones will make this one of the more complete OL units LSU has had in a while. - all coached up w/ full offseason by Brad Davis.
Boutte + Beche + Jenkins + Thomas + Nabors + Lacy is a packed receivers room. With Boutte and Beche being a top heavy 1,2 punch.
Kiner, Emery, & Cain coached up by Frank Wilson. Nothing too flashy, but plenty of potential.
I won’t call it elite or great yet, but this looks like a solid SEC unit.

Running backs will be the question. Do we have a guy who can bust the big one, someone to pass block, and someone to receive.

It’s looking better and better on paper. The key will be the new OC/Kelly and what they can put together.
But I agree, If nothing else, we have the pieces.

Smith is not gone at WR just yet. Some say he's waiting to get his grades right but only a few people know the truth.
I feel ok saying that this is a very good group and some good production out of Kiner and Cain so far. If Goodwin sticks around, he and Emery definitely give us flashy.
Emery is definitely putting in work right now getting his body and conditioning right. He's running hills with his father and putting in work on campus. I hope he breaks out this year.

Emery has shown it in bursts, hopefully he’s in shape and can establish himself this spring.

Bradford maybe?

I still think Joe Sloan will be the sleeper of this staff. I watched his video well be broke down so offensive schemes. That guys knows football. I think you mix his mind with a vet like Denbrock and this could get interesting.

Don't forget about WR, Chris Hilton.

Really is a solid looking offensive unit from a talent perspective. Nussmeier is a capable backup as well to Brenna should he go down or not be the answer (while preserving Howard's redshirt).

Not sure if any are available, but it sure would be nice to pick up a big pass catching/Blocking TE. Read earlier that Georgia TE may be looking to leave.

Emory has the potential to be all of these.

I think our Oline issues are getting shored up nicely by this class of incoming freshmen & transfers. I'm still a little worried about depth on defense between the LB's & secondary.

bust the big one
DO we have a guy than can bust a big run? Yes. Will we have a guy that can bust one every game? That's the true question

We'll likely also add HS commit Danny Lewis at TE to go along with Mason Taylor and possibly a transfer TE as well.

we got dudes every year. whether or not they function as a unit is and has been LSUs problem for decades.
find me examples of the QB thats working every day with the WRs in the off season. maybe then an expectation of being 'good' might be plausible. As of now I haven't seen or heard of anything remotely related to team activities being led by a player.

We need a good TE and a back up QB.
I have seen nothing that makes me think Nuss is a capable backup.
Brennan is not exactly elusive, so the chances of him getting dinged in a pass heavy offense is greater, which makes the back up even more important.
Sure would be good if we got Citizen.

Goodwin will be our best RB. Still need true Center.
