People just can't take someone being a realist these days. It's cool though. I appreciate you doing this thread

With Blake's size I tend to believe he has more upside than what we saw last year. He also has the flair to be a closer. I will be interested to see how he progresses.

Not that there was any hope Selvidge would get to campus once drafted, but it appears like even more of a lock that he will sign with the Yankees. They've announced deals with a few of their top 10 picks already and so far their bonus pool savings is about $640K. They can offer Selvidge something like $1.2MM (probably a little more) as of right now.

FYI…looks like Hasty could be the one deleted from the op during all the updates last week.

ProjectP,

Your OP updated count says 48 players but when all of the listed players are counted I get 47.

25 returning + 6 transfer + 5 JUCO + 11 freshmen

Is someone not listed?

Thanks for the updates.

Good deal, thank you.

Added him back. I was actually looking at his stats this morning and putting them into my Times Through the Order stuff. He's improving and I still think there could be something there. He's due for another start as soon as tomorrow.

I had a feeling last week that I accidentally deleted someone when trying to make an update. MOT just found my mistake and I fixed it. Hasty was accidentally taken off.

ETA: But this type of thing is why I keep a running total, so that I can be checked. I appreciate it.

So the current 48 player breakdown is:

26 returning
11 freshmen
6 transfers from portal
5 JUCO transfers

Oh wow, so he went on a tear from the left side down the stretch. I did notice his average dipped in april may and june, but probably not much to worry about

So a LH OPS of 1.100 and a RH OPS of 1.089

Nice!

Yep, so basically not difference. I had noted K’s but they didn’t match up to the total number I had.

He’s going to be the best switch hitter in LSU history

I'd need some help even figuring out who he'd compete with for that title. Papierski, was Gibbs?
