QB - Most would agree that Burrow will be an upgrade over Etling.

I'm hopeful, but this remains to be seen.

You were definitely in the minority. Most posters were acclaiming him as the best OC ever when he was hired

I was pumped when we brought Canada on board.. and if you think a highly decorated OC is worse than a TE coach who hasn't been an OC in 20 years, then I don't know what to tell you..

However... I do think Ensminger could be better for what we're currently built to do. Especially with Burrow at the helm.
It may just be blind optimism. I don't know.

What’s your source for LSU running an “RPO system?”

"I think we have to put three and four receivers on the field," Ensminger said. "I think we have to be an (run-pass option) team. I think we have to be a more fastball team. I think we have to go no huddle. That's the direction that we're going.

"We can be in three-wide and everything else and still run the football," Ensminger said. "You have to be able to do it all with everything. You can be in three-wide but you still better be able to be physical and run the football and play-action off it and RPO and hit that guy right there and still throw the ball deep.

And telling everyone how dumb they are for seeing that the offense produced less under Canada than it produced in years.

Better. Canada was a mistake and Ensminger is the best man for the job.

2018 Offense - Worse or Better?

It will all hinge on Cregg and the offensive line. If they can protect the QB and open the running lanes, we will surprise a lot of people.

What will really be key this season; however, is the addition of a (statistically) great field goal kicker!! Hopefully he lives up to his hype? Had we had even a mediocre place kicker last year, we would've won a few more games than we did.

P.S. Yes, I know the place kicker isn't technically "offense" but he scores points - which is the same objective.
