Pretending like O wasn’t heavily involved with recruiting till he was named HC in November 2016 if fricking stupid.

saying that the RC doesn't recruit the kids the HC wants him too is moronic...you seem to think the RC tells the HC which players to recruit and the HC has no say so in which kids to go after

Les recruited heavy on DB's and RB's. RB was a bit dry when he left. We were loaded with DB's, I'll give him that.

Utter bullshite rant myth created to give O a pass.

Based on losing to a top 10 Wisconsin team and a close loss to auburn?

O didn't do anything in 2016 that miles couldn't have done. Unlike O, miles made beating florida the norm.
Miles had beaten florida 5 of the last 6.

why don't you expect more from the highest paid DC in CFB?

Aranda is the highest paid DC in CFB because Alleva must have realized that without him here, leading the defense, o was going to sink this program quick.

As it stands, Arandas' defense is 29th in the nation in total defense and 22nd in scoring defense. And that's with having to hold up an offense that was ranked in the 100's until the A&M 7OT game.

Aranda did a spectacular job considering how much his defense had to be on the field during some of this years games.

There, I threw some shade on Miles

FTR I don't think I ever said fire miles...I enjoyed making fun of his quirkiness but hated the offense and only wanted him to improve it bc it was the only thing holding us back. We lucked into Mettenberger and other than that our passing game almost always sucked under CLM.

so he gets the credit for recruiting since he became the RC at LSU?
Yep, Miles never pulled a great class before Ed got there.

Acting like the recruiting coordinator isnt heavily involved in which recruit gets pressed the most and the way each recruit is targeted and pursued further shows your lack of knowledge in cfb.

You need to take that up with Sammy...he is the one saying the RC, not the HC, gets credit for recruiting.

And I didn't even bring into the discussion of what Les has done regarding QB recruitment since he started at LSU. To shite the bed every single year, then expect another coach to come in and provide a decent starting QB is tough in 2 years.

Utter bullshite.

Decent qb play in

2006
2007
2009
2011
2013
Thats 5 of 11 years.
There are enough legit flaws that miles had without having to make shite up.

Pretending Les didn’t want any RBs in the 2017 class is moronic.

Ignoring that Les was fired in october of 2016 is moronic.

Ignoring that O didn’t including recruiting continuity as part of his pitch is moronic.

Ignoring that Oneas completely I. Charge of the football program starting in October 2016 is moronic.

Pretending like Les and O didn’t want Akers and O just couldn’t pull himis Moronic.

Pretending like the RC has no say in who they recruit is moronic. Especially when it comes to DL and Les hires O specifically to recruit DL.

Nah, I give credit to O for going out and recruiting Burrow to LSU. I give credit to Les for going out and recruiting Mett. If he didn't, Mett plays for maybe Arky. That's not luck.

Mett also had a Bama offer.

Did we luck into Burrow?

Its amazing how you hold Miles to a standard that you dont hold to O. Yet you claim O is the better coach.

Well the present OT inflated 128RAT isn't any better than the 2014 A. Jennings RAT of 128, or 2012 Mett RAT of 127 (not many rantards thought LSU "lucked" into Mett in '12).
Somehow folks have this false sense it's better, though.

Saying that the RC has no say or input into who is recruited is equally moronic, but I understand that those of you who say this have an agenda.

And? so you think that everyone should believe our recruiting wouldn't be affected by changing the HC? that's beyond moronic

thinking I said this is moronic...of course he has a say but he doesn't have freedom to recruit whoever he wants without the HC approval and that goes for DL also...do yall live in the real world or just on the rant? down vote that
