Les would still be our coach with a shite load more seccg appearances. frick, if Saban never goes to bama, Les has at least 3 titles. I like this game.

Smart is 3-4 vs the west though

As long as Orgeron continues to recruit, this is just a stop-gap at worst.

In my opinion, o isn't the guy that's gonna get LSU back to the top. We all know that Aranda is doing a good job with the defense. But the hiring of Ensminger as the OC, is just unacceptable to me.

O promised he was going to hire the best coordinators possible. I seriously doubt "slinger" is that guy.

And what happens if Aranda leaves. After the Canada shite storm, I can't put any trust in o to find and hire a suitable replacement.

So? Ed Orgeron hasn't won jack shite. Yet you stick up for him for the same shite you've bashed Miles for.

Missed on Akers in 2017
Missed on anyone last year.

That’s 2 years.

And yeah this years class looks great but if you’re gonna pretend that we didn’t have a game changing RB this year BC of Les’s, that’s completely wrong.

But I'm just saying, his first partial year, he was simply just cleaning up the year. They were 2-2 and with Les, heading down a disaster of a year. He patched that up pretty well I'd say. But I don't know how much he really accomplished that year knowing that he was only an interim and hadn't been named head coach.

Certainly fair. I doubt the year was a disaster. Those were Top 20 losses, and Les had only lost more than 3 games once. It's highly likely that he would have finished with the same9-3/8-4 year we were accustomed too. All evidence points to that.

Yup.

And I didn't even bring into the discussion of what Les has done regarding QB recruitment since he started at LSU. To shite the bed every single year, then expect another coach to come in and provide a decent starting QB is tough in 2 years.

Was Les' achilles' heel and we don't really have a plan to fix it. Burrow is a nice stopgap, but it seems this Offensive staff hasn't fixed the development problem either.

I bashed O after the ND and UF games

My problem with CLM was he never even tried to change our offense. I gave him hell for that b/c we squandered so much talent. Sure his style guaranteed victory over teams we out talented but the second we played teams with great dlines we struggled. O is about to finish his 2nd year...if the offense stays shitty next year i will grab a pitchfork...you happy?

More like there were 4 difficult games in '16 and each coach went 0-2.

taking over 4 mos before signing day shouldn't count...this signing class coming up will make 2 years! Has he even been the HC for 2 years yet?

He rant the team
Since September and was the RC coordinator.

He was talking to those kids the whole
Time.

almost no other 1st year coach gets that kind of Headstart.

That’s officially been HC for 2 years and he’s been running the program for over 2 years.

you like to ask questions but avoid answering mine...you must be the down voter

Trying 2 different OC's shows he is willing to make changes to try to improve the offense. If we ran plays like we did this year 3-4 years ago CLM probably never gets fired.

That's the funny thing about it. There's lots of people on here that called Miles a sorry SOB for not winning more Championships, or only winning 9 or 10 games in any given year. Or losing any fricking game on the road.

And now we have some of the same people going on and on about 8 wins are ok. 9 wins are really good and 10 wins would be fricking awesome. And road losses, hell, everybody has road losses.

And the sorry shitbirds have got to realize how hypocritical they are with this kind of shite.

I would say firing Canada to rehire Ensminger shows that he is very afraid of change

What question am I avoiding?

When you cant hold a 2nd year coach accountable for losing to 1st year coaches.

so he gets the credit for recruiting since he became the RC at LSU? damn so the entire time CLM was here we gave him credit for being a great recruiter when we should've given all the credit to the RC...damn the CLM fan boys aren't going to like that

Yeah Frank Wilson never got credit or a HC job.

O wasn’t hired because he could recruit DL.

Pretending like O wasn’t heavily involved with recruiting till he was named HC in November 2016 if fricking stupid. That was part of his pitch, continuity with a good recruiting class.

So you are telling me the great recruiting at LSU is all thanks to Frank Wilson and Ed Orgeron?

Actually Cameron went majority of 3WR set plays and more gun in '15, but didn't have a very good QB to take advantage.
It was a mistake not to have Etling #1 thru spring/summer '16.

There, I threw some shade on Miles
