I felt like the storming was such a spontaneous emotional idea, not because we beat ole miss of all teams . The team didn’t give up after some embarrassing early losses and really improved each week. Crazy to think we really should have beaten Alabama that season too, but after the tough loss we folded in signature Les fashion at the end of the season

I went back and watched the end of that game. They mention the TE TD was only the 4th TE catch on the season

They’re Ole Miss. We’re LSU. I shouldn’t have to spell it out any more than that.

I forgot to add, I believe this was also contributed by how Ole Miss had just beaten Bama the weekend or two before, and we were in our dry spell. It was a moral victory in the sense that we beat the team that took out Bama, so theres also that angle.

This was the Hugh Freeze Ole Miss team, the one that beat Bama 2 out of 3 years, and then suddenly Hugh Freeze becomes media public enemy number one, and Ole Miss goes back to the stone ages...

One of the best gameday experiences I’ve ever been to. You could feel the energy all day on campus that day. Crowd was electric that night! Bo Wallace and Ole Piss couldn’t hear anything when they were on the field in that 4th quarter! It was nights like those that made you love Les

I’ll bet he was wide open. That was like a trick play for us!

I was there. It was loud!

Ole Miss has pulled the upset on us a few times when we were having a good season. It was nice to get a little payback!

Anyone else think running on the field after beating number 3 Ole Miss was kinda a overreaction?

Probably was a little but still kinda fun. NO REGRETS about storming the field after Georgia last year though that game was epic

You could literally feel the hate raining down from the crowd. The couple with seats in front of us sold their tickets to some Ole Miss fans. They were arrogant as hell in the beginning but they beat a hasty retreat when it was over.

That’s the second to last game I’ve been to. Only game I’ve been in the student section for. Very memorable.

Wonderful ending to a game in the midst of many games.

While Alabama, Florida, & Auburn are more relevant year in & out, Ole Miss is the old school rival.

They can usually be relied upon to do something stupid too.

Which is fun to watch.

It was a perfect game day weather wise. I believe ESPN was on campus. Tailgating all day and then experiencing one of the better nights in TS. I remember at one point the crowd getting so loud the stadium was shaking. Good times.

Lol, I remember that game too bc my ole miss friend was all confident that they were going to come into tiger stadium and win the game. The whole "we are number 3 in the country, what are y'all ranked?" shite. It was their best team since the 60s and it was an average LSU team and we kicked their arse.

Yes, I took his money, and I felt good about it.

I will ALWAYS remember this game as it was the first time my two oldest kids ever went to a game in Tiger Stadium. We had been to LSU-NC in the Georgia Dome, LSU-Oregon and TCU in Jerry world, and LSU-Georgia for the SECCG in 2011...but this was their first one back at home and it was amazing.
