Apparently, not enough said.
On that same 2009 World Series team, PM recruited DJ LeMahieu (starter and leading hitter), Chad Jones (first reliever), Mikie Mahtook (starter), Tyler Hanover (starter), Austin Ross (starter), Anthony Ranaudo (starter), Micah Gibbs (starter), Austin Nola (starter), Daniel Bradshaw and Matty Ott (best relief pitcher), among others. We don't win and beat Texas in the finals without PM's recruits.
Now, enough said.

Ok? Smoke may have recruited them, but Maineiri coached them. Just shut the frick up. I don't think Maineri's problem is recruiting anyway.

Mainieri is a good recruiter. This shouldnt even be an argument.
There's a lot of things about Mainieri that shouldn't be argued, but are.
Is he an a-hole? yes
Is he Skip? Not even close
Is he one of the best active coaches in college baseball? Yes, and an argument can be made that he is the most successful among his peers.

If I could become another fan of another team I would. If I could stop caring what happened to LSU I would. You people make me wish this. GTFO

He was ridiculous at 3B, you knob. Probably the best I've ever seen at this level.

Helenihi couldn't hit out of a wet paper bag. But he was good at 3rd.

He's isn't a bad recruiter he just doesn't recruit many hitters he's only interested in defense

Give me some examples of these great hitters he's recruited instead of throwing insults at me. Besides Bergman and mahtook I can't think of any.

And if the bats are the excuse go check some minor league numbers and tell me smoke didn't recruit better hitters.
