Man, what could’ve been if Alley hadn’t gotten hurt. People rightfully talk about Cecil Collins as a “ what could’ve been” talent but Alley Broussard can be in that conversation too

IMO this is nostalgic LSU. From the fans, block lettered endzones, and the call by Jim Hawthorne; one of my favorite time periods in LSU football. Like a sleeping giant, everyone was hungry back then.

I had never seen this game on TV. I had to listen to the game on the radio as a high school sophomore in Shreveport.

i remember this game and how Alley Broussard was a beast pre-injury
