Trevor, Etienne, Venables, the defense's physicality and mean streak pose challenges greater than we've faced. But then again, Joe, Joe, our WRs, Stingley, healthy Clyde, an Aranda wanting to prove he's on Venable's level pose challenges Clemson hasn't seen all year.

Clemsons DBs are a weakness. That’s the plus side on playing Clemson over OSU

You can’t tell me Clemson’s defense is better than Georgia’s.

Stats wise it might be but outside of tosu they basically play a fcs schedule. I’m not confident that half the acc could win a g5 conference

Nobody who watched that game thinks Clemson was the better team. #19 playing center field against our offense is going to be pure comedy.

It’s different. From a quarterback and Oline perspective they are a lot more mentally taxing. They are MUCH more high risk/high reward. I also think Venebles is the best DC in the game. He can make a qb throw where he wants him to throw it.

Georgia is much more just beat the man in front of you and play disciplined.

Easy to play against a run to set up the pass offense when Dobbins is hobbled.

The Buckeyes lost but still could have and should have won. They were better than Clempson. Bad call on reverse fumble that led to touchdown. It was a fumble. Sec officials suck!!!

osu receivers were open all night, and we have better receivers and schemes.

I disagree, it looked like clemson came out cold but they have some serious weapons on Offense OSU was able to bottle up early but were going to break out at any moment. Clemson may be the only team besides bama that could keep up with us in a shootout and has a good defense that can make plays(no way OSU could keep up IMO). Make no mistake it will be a tough game but I think the good guys pull it out.

ohio state is better than Clemson but they didn't win the game because of unforced errors.

Dobbs didn't handle 2 td passes and they kicked filed goals. special teams coaches failed going after the block and giving Clemson the ball back instead of getting the ball on the 50. and then at the end the receiver broke off his route - he probably scores on that play but at least ohio state has a couple more shots if he doesn[t catch up.

then there was the unlucky break on the targeting. once again tosu had Clemson stopped - it was one of those football things - no intent but he went full speed and put his head down and crashed into Lawrence's helmet. very unlucky but the a good call according to the rule.

neither of these teams has me nervous about our chances.

I’d be more worried about #11 baw.

But you’re right, their D won’t be able to stop this train.

Lawrence is going to have to take the game over like Vince Young did in 05 against USC to win this one. He is actually good enough to do it though.

I don’t think he will, but this game could go down as the first of many epic clashes between Trevor and Burrow, very possibly back to back Heisman winners and #1 NFL picks.

Ohio State was clearly the better team but Clemson caught a lot of breaks. Should be a great game and an bit easier opponent for us than ohio state would have been. Still a very dangerous team but our offense should just roll right over that defense. Am a little concerned about stopping their offense though but don't see them keeping up

glad we are facing Clemson instead of Ohio State because Ohio State could have given us a much tougher game

I think we caught a break facing Clemson instead of Ohio. Clemson does not have an elite pass rusher, and I think that’s the one thing that could upset our offense (aside from Joe just having an off day). Clemson’s offense is good, but so is Ohio’s.

LSU is the best team in the country. There is a gap between LSU and Ohio State and Clemson. Then there is a gap to Florida, Bama, Clemson and Auburn. Then there is a big gap to Oklahoma Utah, Baylor, etc.

I disagree.

Yes, their defense is better than Clemson’s, but no defense is shutting down this offense. Period. It just isn’t happening.

The only way we lose is if a team keeps up and has the ball last and scores to win it at the end.

Trevor gives Clemson the best shot at that imo. He is better than Fields and has a better shot to take the game over imo, which is what it will take. Add Etienne to that and Clemson was the most dangerous team we could have faced imo.

Clemson wasn't better than OSU in my opinion...
