On that day, at that moment the ONLY season result I would be happy with is undefeated all the way to Omaha with a record for successive 10 run rule games.

A national seed is the goal for regular season. But a trip to Omaha is the bar to reach each year.
So this is the first step but if the season ends now, I’m not okay with it.

I like it. Yes the lack of offense is alarming. JJ knew what he had in this team. The bunts. The head scratchers were designed to see what he can do to scratch runs when the bats are cold.
But w the pitching shaped up, I like our chances. I see the super being tough for this team unless the bats warm. The CWS turns into a pitcher tournament and I like us there.

We finished the regular season ranked #1 in the polls and earned a national seed. Anyone not ok with that is a high functioning retard. Sure, it could have been better if we have won the SEC, but this season is far from a disappointment.
Call me 3 weeks from now though when we are 0-2 in Omaha with 3 total runs scored and I may be in a different mood.
