18 SEC regular season games remaining

With 12 game played we are sitting at 3-9. A strike away @ UT from 4-8 along with a base hit away from 5-7 vs Vandy. However no matter how you slice it (9 of the 12 games being played against current top 10 teams) we are 3-9 on the eve of the SC series.
So, of these 18 games, how many do you think we NEED TO WIN for post season opportunity(I suppose you can add in a couple tourney dubs for insurance) and then secondly how many do you think we actually win regardless? We are mid-week warriors I see MAYBE La Tech giving us some gas but beating them again will only help our RPI.
I think we shock the world and take 2 of 3 from the cocks this weekend, followed by a sneaky Freaky Friday night (game 2) victory @ Swazy. That will have us at 9-12. Then the pigs come to town............this is when this team will be peaking and fired up for that late season run. And make no mistake this conference being the blood bath that it is (see Vandy/UGA in Nashville this weekend) will only help us.
Man.........IF we can somehow win that Arky series @ The Box, watch out. We would be sitting at 11-13 staring at Auburn, Bama, and A&M to finish things out.........

1) We can't get swept
2) We have to win 4 of our 6 remaining series
3) 2 of those 4 have to be sweeps

I'm having a hard time believing we sweep 2 of our last 6. Maybe Auburn or A&M, but both of those are on the road. I liked our chances to sweep Bama, but I forgot Prielipp was due back.
We needed to get 2 from Miss St and at least 1 from Tennessee.

With your remaining schedule ; you have LSU going 11 - 7 ; looks about right. Puts LSU at 14 - 16.

We have to finish in the top 8...if we dont....we aren't going anywhere. With that being said we need at least 15 wins...don't fool yourself....lsu has to go 12 and 6 remaining schedule...

Take 2 out of 3 from SC and 1 from Ole Miss—We would be 6-12, not 9-12.
