Lol seriously you get worse by the day. 150% his fault? Was it Wade’s fault we missed FTs late to take us out of the game? Was it Wade’s fault Mays played like he was on a mix of Xanax and weed? Was it Wade’s fault the refs jobbed us without a doubt? Just because he made a couple mistakes like the trap doesn’t mean it was 150% his fault. You’re just ignorant, try to learn basketball maybe.

That tends to happen when the defenders aren’t allowed to play D. Not hard to spot a hatchet job.

They had two guys foul out & LSU shot 36FTA to their 23, & you going to blame the refs lol?

LSU only stay in the game cause they got like eight AND1’s

Sometimes I hate when we play well because it really brings the clueless out.

There’s zero correlation between FTs and bad calls. This is another made up ranter narrative by people who know zilch about basketball so it’s not surprising you’d parrot it. Vandy shot 12 more 3s and we shot 13 more FTs which is about 7/8 possesions worth so the math doesn’t favor your talking point anyway. FT attempts is about style not calls. Anytime we impeded Vandy in anyway the whistle was blown. Our guys just quit challenging them when we got into foul trouble which is why a Vandy player “scored 31 on layups alone.” Not to mention all the run stopping bs calls at the end of the first half anytime we threatened to take the lead. Like the one when the ball was punched out from behind Smart and Vandy was given possession. A call made .000001% of the time.

Vandy has been poor from 3 all year. Tonight they weren't, but no excuse for giving up 99.

Ehhh, Even some of Cals great KY teams lost to inferior opponents, including LSU at the time. A truly GOOD team learns from a loss more than a win sometimes.

LSU could easily have 6-7 losses. Sometimes you need to be bitch slapped to wake up

You hate to lose to a team who has 0 wins in SEC play, but LSU hasn't lost a road game in regular-season SEC play since the 2017-2018 season. That's pretty incredible. And they were riding a 10-game winning streak overall going into the Vandy game. It sucks losing, but I can handle it better with those facts that I just mentioned and the fact that LSU is still in 1st place in the SEC at the halfway point in SEC play.

Zero excuses for giving up 99. That shouldn't happen in an SEC game...ever. Vandy was crazy hot from the offensive end, some lack of adjustment/effort is to blame, but there is a bit of a "shite happens" factor here.

There was some of that. LSU actually played really good on offense, outrebounded them and shot better from the free-throw line. They had 10 turnovers to Vandy's 8 which isn't a big difference. Where they lost though was Vandy taking it to the hoop over and over with no resistance in the 2nd half. No excuse for giving up 99 when Vandy averages 59 or something like that. Yes, they were really hot, but LSU played poor D.

Also, LSU got very little from Marlon Taylor tonight who had been playing really well (Days was quiet too).

It did seem like we kept daring all their shooters to shot open looks even after they were torching us. That seemed like a coaching decision after a while

That's just dumb.... no coach EVER has told his team "just back off and dare them to shoot; they're gonna start missing"...

Try to hide your excitement a little bit, buddy. We all know you’re giddy over the opportunity to shite on Wade, even though you do that when we win too.

It was an atrocious loss which the coaches and players share blame for - like they share credit for wins. But shite happens and we will regroup and be better for it.

Well it didn't help that Vandy had a couple guys who had career days.

The worst part is Wade standing on the sideline like it’s a preseason scrimmage

Yeah, we were much better off with the walking zombie that was Johnny Jones...

Wade is not a Xs and Os guy IMHO.

Have you ever noticed how he doesn’t even go into the team huddles during time outs until right before the commerical breaks are over?

He should let Helar work the sideline and should sit on the bench.

Wade didn’t play any organized basketball as far as I’m aware. Maybe high school. He’s a film room guy.
