Folks, there are no slots. CBS picks a 230 game, then ESPN, with input from the schools, schedules the rest. If LSU gets scheduled for an 11am home game, it will be because LSU asked for it. Otherwise LSU will be playing evening games at home unless on CBS.

...ESPN probably does not care....however there are a whole days worth of activity associated with this and it requires a night game. Would LSU have any influence on this??? I don't know.

I seem to remember some thing to the effect that LSU can be forced to go to the 11AM slot for one game a season....or something like that.

It used to be 1 home game at 11:20 am every other season when Raycom had the rights to that game. Not sure if that has changed with the SEC network.
