False.

2015 was the only time since the mulligan that we got beat up along the lines.

This game looked no better than we did in 2012, 13, or 14 under Miles.

It wasn’t as competitive as any of those games either.

Hell, even in 2015 at least it was 13-10 at halftime.

I believe it takes a morally pathetic human being who, when someone can find the good in a bad situation, point out improvement and effort...he has the desire to shite on that with a childish "I love moral victories" comment.

Is it against some Message board code to discuss positives in a loss (that no one thought would win anyway)?

Are we just supposed to bitch and moan about everything and not look forward?

I don’t understand why everyone has to be so condescending about it and acting like it’s against the rules to discuss

Folks can not say same old result.

Sure we can. We lost again. We played them closer last year and in 2014. Similar result in 2015.

Of course not, but don't claim it's 100% different from years past.

It’s not 100% different, no

But if you didn’t see a difference, I’m not sure you WANT to see a difference.

You rather hold up for one half or the whole game?

Going into the 4th we had a chance to win the game. In 2015 the game was over middle of the third

Let's be honest. This bama team isn't close to last years. There was no jonathon Allen last night. And still LSU was never in the game. Let's be honest and stop the moral victories

Not a moral victory, a loss is a loss. But to sit here and act like this is the same team of years past and there is no improvement, is just ridiculous. Not to mention discrediting everything those boys are accomplishing.

What difference beyond being able to run the ball? Results are still the same and Alabama was still, clearly the better team. Are certain aspects different, sure. Those are game to game differences, but it still never felt like we'd score when we needed to.

The score was 20-10 until there were 2 minutes left in the 3rd in 2015.

I’m not trying to say 2015 was some great game. We got beat bad.

But the CheeriOs trying to say this is some huge revolution in the series are just pathetic.

This game was never in doubt. Alabama had a two score lead from the beginning of the second quarter and LSU never really threatened.

I didn’t expect to win this game, and I’m not holding it against this staff. It was a solid effort against a better team on the road.

But it’s nothimg different than we see in this series every year. LSU always gives Bama their best shot. And it’s always not enough.

This was status quo for this series.

ETA: And this is one of the less impressive Bama teams during the winning streak

This is exactly how I see it. LSU just isn't very good in the passing game and that's all areas basically. The OL did a good job in pass pro this year, or it was easily good enough to pass the ball all over them, if our entire team knew how to run routes and our QB knew how to time his throws better. You have to get the ball out before the WR breaks or lead them including the backs, TEs, or FBs, who ever it is needs to be aware if there is a pass rush or they playing man to break off long routes to a shorter version and be looking at the qb for the ball.

“ that no one thought we would win anyway”

That statement by itself speaks to what’s wrong with LSU football at this time.

We can discuss some of the positive things that happen in last nights game as long as we are being honest. And if we are going to be honest, we have to state that at no time after bama scored their first touchdown did we threaten them with our ability to win. Hell, it was 13-10 at halftime of 2015 and 0-0 at halftime last yr. How is 14-3 “100% different”??

We are 6-3 with two terrible losses. I’m sorry, but I can’t get too excited about scoring 10 points in at 14 point loss to Bama because the offense gained some yds.

You tell me, under the previous staff it was. The end result is the same a loss is a loss. frick a moral victory especially when some of these come from revisionist memories...

Many of the geniuses on the rant feel they are owed championships every year. Anything less than 12-0 is unacceptable. The sky is falling, we suck. If you cannot admit that the team has improved as the season progressed you're an idiot.

Was a typical LSU vs bama game.

Hard fought, very physical game.
Running between the tackles was tough sledding for both teams.
Missed opportunities for LSU
And as has been the case, except Mett, very poor QB play.

If we can ever get a competent & semi-mobile QB, we should start beating them again. I just hope MB & LN are the type of QB’s we need.
