yep, everyone expected them to fold once Duke went on that run. i remember thinking after josh mcroberts had those back to back dunks that we were in trouble. still can't believe we pulled it out.

Was in Atlanta the whole weekend what a blast. Was drinking coffee the next morning in the hotel and some duke fans came in and the guy said Where in the fck did yall come from. He was crying.
Without a doubt top five LSU sports memory of my lifetime with Warren Morris's homer, LSU-OU and Ohio State for the natty, Duke win in 06, Hodson to Fuller, and any game Chris Jackson played in.

Brady's gameplan that night was perfect and we never budged. Darnell Lazare was huge in the first half, then Tyrus and Big Baby down the stretch. It was unbelievable.
Only to lay an egg against UCLA, although I knew we were in trouble when Tyrus waved to his mother in the stands before the game. When you look back UCLA had like 5 pros on that team, and we played terrible.

are going to have a post on Friday about beating Texas?

Talk about one of the crazier possessions in a game. The one where Texas tied it up at the end of the second half was incredible.

Tyrus and Garrett both had blocks the ball was all over the place but Texas finally recovered and juiced it. But we balled out in OT and advanced to Indy.

Here is a video of the game (the timestamp is the wacky possession by Texas to tie the game)

Duke was up 5 with halfway through the 2nd half and they got an offensive rebound and kicked it out to a wide fricking open JJ and when the ball was in the air I vividly remember thinking "frick frick frick frick frick" because he was so open and there was no doubt he was about to put Duke up 8 and end it. He misses and D Mitch immediately hits a 3 on the other end to cut it to 2 and LSU took over.

This was the game my older brother discovered JJ Reddick was a white guy.

I remember vividly the surprise he had when I had duke and LSU on. He doesn't follow college basketball but had heard of JJ.

It seriously blows my mind that this is 10 years ago today. Where in the hell did the time go? It certainly didn't fly by watching our basketball program since then

I remember just being shocked John Brady beat Coach K, even if it was only for one day. I can't believe I long for the Bradyball days

I was in Atlanta at the game. Got last minute bad arse free tickets. Me and some friends drove up. One of the best times of my life. Hard to believe that was 10 years. Nothing like LSU basketball when we're winning.

Watching on YouTube

Temple gets called for a touch foul on Duke's first possession of the game. Could have let it throw him off but just kept playing.
