I agree with one, two and three. I disagree with all the others.

Past History, brah.

We're just lucky he didn't go into future history or we'd really be fricked.

In the defense of the person who wrote that missive, sports "experts" from outside the SEC often underestimate the strength, speed and size of SEC teams.

5. Run Defense - TCU has always been able to shut down opposing running attacks in the past. This will force LSU to have to win the game throwing the ball.

3. Quarterback - Casey Pachall is a more talented quarterback, especially throwing the ball, than Zach Mettenberger. Mettenberger might not have the checkered past but Pachall has more upside.

LSU will win 100-0 in honor of Coach Patterson's comments on Jeremy Hill.

I'm getting tired of these guys, and I'm a Mountain West sympathizer.

I did a little research, but not a ton. Couldn't find the last time they played and SEC team. Looks to be a long, long time ago.

They have a few solid wins under their belt, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Boise, but LSU is whole different animal.

This is really a shot a legitimacy for them.

Prepartion - If there is a team out there that does a better job at preparing for opponents, I'd like to see it.

You're in luck; you'll see it in 12 days.

Jesus, does this guy eat paint chips? I look forward to seeing how that vaunted TCU run D looks with JC Copeland making their MLB look like Te'o on roller skates.

Oh, wait, no big deal because:

TCU has a talented and experienced secondary and is probably the strongest unit TCU has on both sides of the ball.

That will come in handy when they're trying to catch up with Hill, Blue, Hilliard, etc.

But again, they will be well-equipped since:

quote:

I think TCU is the most conditioned team in the league each year. Just look at our past games in September when other teams had players dropping like flies in the 2nd half with cramps

that's fine but if we played a texas team in hammond i would call it a home game for us.

Indeed. They played Vandy in 2003. Looks like the most recent but can't confirm.
