TCU uses lots of conditioner. That's why their hair is so silky soft.

What is a checkered pass? This some kind of new form of passing that I haven't heard about yet?

Some of the same arguments were made about the Oregon game, and why they were going to beat LSU, as far as conditioning(etc.). Well we will see how that reasoning works out for them.

Umm, OK. Done. LSU will beat TCU throwing or running the ball.

How often are they NOT the underdog?

This list has a couple good points, but not many.

Motivation is not an issue, this is the first game of the season, everyone gets up for it.

These guys really have little respect for LSU. To say that we aren't one of there top games of the year is laughable. I guarantee you TCU coaches and players understand what they are facing. This is a really big game for TCU but I believe it is even bigger for LSU because of how the season ended and how low we are starting in the polls.

He basically just listed every aspect of football and said they were better.

#5 TCU has always been good against the run. They'll commit 8 to the box to stop it. The passing game is going to have to produce.

They don't too often get to see what they are about to see. By the 4th quarter, they will be beaten into submission.

That post was in response to a similar "10 reasons LSU will beat TCU" posted on killerfrogs.com

1. Motivation reasonable
2. Coaching I agree but only when looking HC to HC. When comparing staff to staff, LSU get advantage assuming Miles allows Cam the operate like he allows the Chief
3. Quarterback
quote:

more talented quarterback, especially throwing
true
quote:

but Pachall has more upside
possible but uncertain considering a year off and recent practice reports
4. Secondary true especially against a possibly underachieving Mett. This assumes TCU can shut down the run though.
5. Run Defense I think TCU may be able to control the run but will have to sell out to do so. The D's ability to control the run will decrease as the game proceeds due to lack of depth up front. IMHO this is where TCU loses this game.
6. Past History Mostly true but offers no real advantage
7. Experience GP is used to getting players ready for big opponents. Les faulters getting his ready for lesser opponents. That being said I think this is even for this game. Les and LSU will not be under respecting TCU.
8. Conditioning TCU is a well conditioned team but no more so than LSU and LSU has the depth advantage to be able to rotate players.
9. Wide Receivers unproven
10. Prepartion GP and Les both do a great job of preparing for games when given more than one week. I see no advantage either way.

The first one may be a legit concern, especially considering how flat the team came out against Clemson.

The rest is wishful thinking.

8. Conditioning - I think TCU is the most conditioned team in the league each year. Just look at our past games in September when other teams had players dropping like flies in the 2nd half with cramps and exhaustion issues. Most notably Baylor in 2010.

out of all one this one made laugh the most

Excellent post! This guy really did a great job of articulating his points. I'll offer a slight counterpoint.

1 reason LSU will beat TCU:

1. Scoreboard - After 60 minutes of football, LSU will have more points on it than meth-head and co.

Um, he said this is probably TCU's biggest game of the year.

And TCU is probably the 5th best team we play this year, so he's kind of right about it not being in the top 3 games. Florida, Georgia, Bama, A&M are all better than TCU.

It should be noted that, even amongst most of us regulars on that board, the OP is an extreme homer who has no sense of reality. Take that for what it's worth, but his opinion isn't carried by the majority of the fan base.
