Absolutely, Chicken. Ole Miss is tough at home, and we’re just 2-4 over there in our last 6 tries.

The guys on here who think we’ll win easily are delusional.

Why is everyone sold on this LSU defense? They have yet to play an offense ranked inside the top 80.

At night and IN Baton Rouge. Playing on the road is a different animal.

My point is that real talent and depth in the hands of a great coach goes a long way toward bridging that gap.

Thank you for outing yourself as either an alter troll or casual. The talent upgrades and coaching (pointed out in detail multiple times by Saban, one of the greatest defensive minds in the history of the sport) are evident to anyone who knows anything about ball.

I don’t think anyone doubts that the defense is WAY better than in past years, however, it remains to be seen how good they actually are bc they have yet to be tested by a good offense.

This will be a real test for the defense. 1st SEC game of the year on the road and you are going against Kiffin and his tempo. Hope the defense has been heavy on the cardio because they will need it with Mr. All gas no brakes Kiffin. But I have faith in CBB to slow down the Ole Piss offense. But I think they score 24+. Just hope the good guys walk out with a W come Saturday night.

True but I still stand by the fact that Lagway is the best QB we will face all year. I don’t care what anyone says, he is a helluva QB and we made his night miserable. If he can’t beat us through the air I don’t see how this John Melvin College transfer can. We have to prove we can stop a running QB though after the many debacles of last year.

Yep. Starting Saturday we begin to learn what this team really is.

this. the 2003 team was a monster on scoring defense. if we give up 28 to ole mrs, then our D is officially average.

Its Kiffin I worry about, not the QB. Lagway would be great in Kiffin’s system, as would many other QBs. That’s the beauty of it.

I think you guys are underrating Ole Miss at home...

Yes. ARKY coughing it up on what should have been the winning drive really worries people.

This is by far Lane’s worst team @ Ole Miss & they play in a glorified HS stadium.

You're underrating Ole Miss and Kiffin's ability as a play caller.

No I'm counting on it! Lane will stupid himself out of at least 10 points. This game will be Mr. Chambliss meet Mr. Perkins, he will be following you and terrorizing you all day! Get used to it and gird thy loins!

LSU has also not played a good offense yet this year. Clemson and Florida both have been extremely underwhelming on offense this year. I think LSU’s defense is great but do we really know how good they are? They haven’t been tested by a good offense yet this year

This is the same crap that was said about the 2019 team (THE GREATEST TEAM EVER) except you need to substitute the word DEFENSE for OFFENSE. " Wait until they play...!"
