This is the dumbest stuff on the his site. Of course people are gonna talk about Bama. They are the benchmark. Do you think that this is exclusive to LSU fans??? Get real!

Other fan bases don’t obsess the way LSU does. It’s fact. Go look on SEC rant and see

This is such a weird threat that this board loves
Plus if your threat is “you can’t live in Baton Rouge after college”, then thats more encouragement than anything

Sorry to burst ur bubble but O wasn't head coach until last year . Oh Leslie was responsible for most of the lost players from that list. Not to say they didn't get a few this year but so far no really big names. I am talking about straight up Kids from the boot.

Yeah I’m glad O came in and fired our recruiting coordinator

It’s a known thing that LSU fans talk about Bama way more than other fan bases with exception of maybe Auburn but they beat Bama regularly these days

The first six we really wanted and sure could use. I don't know how bad we wanted the last five, so perhaps someone can fill me in?

Bama having players from Louisiana means nothing to me. Having players from Louisiana BETTER than the players we have from Louisiana or elsewhere bothers me. Just because they succeed at Alabama doesn’t mean we don’t have guys succeeding at the same level here. I look at that list and our depth chart and I wish we had Buggs last year ( that hurt us) and Mathis moving forward. I think Chris Allen is going to be an absolute baller but I look at our roster and we are set.
Most of this Bama angst ( not all of it ) is just bruised ego . But as far as indispensable guys, imho there has only been the big OT from Monroe and maybe ( because we needed him ) Buggs. We have chapped arse because they beat our arse every year, not because they pull three guys a year from Louisiana. That’s not why they beat us. They beat us because Nick Saban and LSU not having a reliable scoring offense for the better part of a decade.

Most seem like guys who would start or contribute big time if they were at LSU. I was wondering if they’ve ever had more Louisiana kids on their roster than they do this season.

I bet we have way more than 10 from Texas.

Giles was a Texas kid but he was a transfer. There are other kids too, but less known recruits.

None of those guys would really be game changers talent wise to our roster IMO.
While Moses, Carter, Buggs, and Mathis may well be top notch players, we recruited comparable talent at those positions. Obviously Carter would come in handy given our CB depth issue going into this season.
Moses is a good LB but our LB group is stout. Would love to have him but probably doesn't make a massive difference in our defensive outlook. I don't know how good Devonta Smith will ultimately be but we aren't hurting for talent at receiver either.
I'm more pissed that we lost Saivion Smith to those bastards. With Fulton likely being out and the guys we lost to the draft, he would be a huge boost to our defense this season.
It's OL and QB that has been the most glaring advantage Bama has had over as of late. We've recruited well everywhere else, regardless of whether they've been from LA or out of state.
