Most seem like guys who would start or contribute big time if they were at LSU. I was wondering if they’ve ever had more Louisiana kids on their roster than they do this season.

Probably not. For obvious reasons, they've prioritized Louisiana since 2007 and have had an "in" here since that time. Their success only makes them that much more difficult to keep out.
Seems like Eaux is doing a good job in that area though

Did you count the 5'9 168 lb receiver from jesuit?
Because he's going to play, I have a feeling.

O's a really good recruiter!

4/10 I don't think we even offered. Buggs would start/get significant playtime. Rest will remain to be seen. Moses is stiff and overrated. Wouldn't be surprised if Allen has a better career than him. D. Smith would play but I think we've got plenty of WR talent. If Mathis turns out to been good that one will hurt.

I can’t believe we let Bryce Musdo get away. Damn!

Plus Patrick Surtain Jr

I would have loved Moses, Allen and Buggs on this team. But defense isn't our weakness. No one on offense screams "big miss". We have receiver talent. Just need someone who can throw accurately. My only real concern is losing good Louisiana talent to them.

For all the talk about Alabama owning NELA I counted 7 from South Lousisna and only 3 from North Louisiana. Buggs will be a stud this year but Mathis and Bolden shouldn’t play much this year. Cam Robinson was the one that hurt losing a few years ago. Buggs hurts this year. Other than that, I like who we replaced the ones who left with more than who we lost.

-They have 33 players from Alabama on their roster. LSU has 55 from La on their roster.
-You can surmise that there are more top notch players from La than Al so they have to look elsewhere.
-Saban obviously has contacts here from his days at LSU.
-They have been winning more than we have.
-They do much more national recruiting than LSU does so that will also reflect in lesser kids from Al on their roster.
FWIW, my take for the day.

We do not want kids who are satisfyed sittng on the bench, instead of starting with the Tigers.
