Since when did support the coach mean overlooking flaws and mistakes? It certainly didn’t mean that under either Nick or miles.
I fully support the team and I sincerely hope that we have significant success. Having said that, the arrival of Coach O as the one calling the game day decisions has not been impressive to this point in time.
10 win seasons were frowned upon not long ago iand hard schedules were not seen as any type of excuse. I wonder what has changed?
Coach O has been on the LSU staff since 2015. He has been actively involved in recruiting since that time. He has been making game day decision since the first part of the 2016 season . It’s time for him to step up and demonstrate that he is up to the task of winning 11 games, having his team in the top 10, and seriously competing for the West title.

By 2020 would be correct. Corch O will have had time for the rebuild by then so 10-2 in 2020. Of course from there, it will take another 4-6 years till winning it all...learning how to win kinda deal. Corch O should be set till 2028 at a minimum.
Thank goodness!
LSU's football future is safe and secure everyone!

I just don’t see LSU winning 10 games this year with so much uncertain about how the offense will perform..... lots of talent(maybe) but still unproven.....

quote:what QBs do in the NFL is irrelevant. It's all about the college game.
2 of [Jimbo's] 1st round QB's were total busts and the 3rd has underperformed.
College and NFL are very different games.
Jimbo's had big success with QBs in college - that's really not debatable.

Don't know. He gets treated with kid gloves because "he's doing the best he can."
He completes normal tasks that his job requires of him, like landing commitments, and people want to throw a parade. Before those things were expected of the coach, now they're surprises.

Our WR corp isn't as unknown as most here suggest. Deep pool of Juniors accompanied by some stud freshmen. Our offense is going to be able to create a number of mismatches going 3/4/5 WR due to our depth of WR talent. Should be fun to watch. Definitely think this offense will have the big play potential that the 2013 offense had.
