Ha Ha, so now they quickly scored. Where did that come from? Did they quickly score a touchdown in under 2 minutes and 3 seconds?

10 play 75 yard TD drive in 3:24. Pretty quick if you ask, well, any one but you apparently.

Not blaming Aranda. Not blaming anyone but this is a fluke play that happened. Like I said before shite happens. But, I guess you predicted this play, right?

Apparently to everyone including me 3:24 is not the same as 2:03. Pretty quick yes. The added pressure of your last chance to score, NO.

Bruh....they had added pressure to score and fricking won the game. Yet here you are arguing they couldn't muster 40 yards to get a FG to tie?

Seriously.....think.before.you.type.

I'm talking about when Guice was on the 1 foot line, I didn't mention Darrell Williams. O went against his own words and backed down and went for another FG when we had been struggling in the kicking game the entire game and we missed yet another. From the one foot line with a RB like Guice, hell yeah I would've gone for it. 7 points>3..... well none since we missed the FG again on that awesome decision.

You're saying you would've stuck with what wasn't working? From the 1 foot line?

Thanks for proving my point. O does no wrong in your eyes.

Dude. Did you watch the game? We never missed a field goal from the one foot line. We got down there, got stopped on second and third down, lined up to go for it and then had a false start to move us back to the 6.

This was our first drive of the second quarter in a 0-0 game. I'm pretty sure 100/100 coaches kick the field goal there.

Yes I did.

I didn't say we did. What I said was when you have a RB like Guice and your kicking game had been struggling all game, I would've gone for it.

So taking a gamble on making a field goal, for the fourth time now, when your FG kickers have been struggling, makes little sense and it sure doesn't go with the "we aint backing down" thing.

Gonsoulin and Kulp had missed at least one FG attempt each before the play I'm referring to.

I'm not pulling stuff out of thin air. It was late in the game. Go to 5:44, (2:06 on the game clock) and you'll see the missed kick.

See for yourself

With RBs like Guice and Williams, he should've gone for it. No guts, no glory.

In any event, that was last season and back to the subject of this thread, I do give him credit for landing Stingley.

I am not wishing for the man to fail at all. He's getting together a huge crop of major athletes.

I want nothing else than to see us come out this season and blow the doors off our opponents.

Time will tell.

I watched the game dipshit. A meaningless game that he needed to play to win. Not play to not lose. If he trusted his defense so goddamn much he wouldn't worried about getting stopped. Dude talks tough but when it comes down to it he waffles like a pussy. Because he's scared the jig is up on his con game

If he had and it failed, he would still be getting blasted.

He made the right call in that situation. There are a lot of things about him you can criticize, but that's not one.

This thread is about the #1 recruit in the nation...and yet the rant can turn it into bitching about the LSU/Notre Dame game last year.

You people can repeat this as many times as you want. It's not going to make it true.

You would have bitched regardless of the call and outcome.

Thanks for trying to tell me what I would've done, but you're wrong.

Business as usual for you.

How did a thread about signing an elite recruit turn into a pissing match about going for it on 4th down in a football game?

Sad and pathetic....from both sides.

The proof that I give credit when its warranted is there for everyone to peruse, including you by the way. By all means though, continue making shite up.

As I said, business as usual for you.
