I think nqs starts this week. Utah for sure not getting it because they got a 196.6.

LSU just needs a mid 197 score next week at KY so we can drop that Arkansas road score and our NQS will shoot up more

I was telling my wife, I think college gymnastics' deductive scoring renders the most impressive parts of the sport nearly meaningless. Go back and watch the floor routines. Compare one of OU's 9.950s with one of ours. Our girls were so much more athletic and explosive. It's way more impressive, but scoring doesn't reflect it.

It’s actually supposed to be artistic as well but in college most of them don’t have much artistic ability. Jordan bowers tonight and Brooklyn moors have really great artistic routines with great tumbling.

OU team left when HB performed

They were in the corner meeting with the coaches. Don't a lot of teams do this after they finish their final event and the other team is finishing up the last routine?

And OU waited for LSU to break its post-meet huddle, then both teams exchanged high-fives. So they didn't evacuate the arena or head to the locker room during LSU's last routine.

That has pissed me off for years. Oklahoma does bread and butter routines very well and get over scored while LSU does more dynamic athletic floor performances and never get the same or better credit for it.

OU
197.55 (A) (Low)
197.95 (A) (High)
197.775
197.55 (A)
197.825
197.825
197.675 (A)

AVG (197.55+197.95+197.775+197.55+197.825+197.825+197.675)÷7=197.74

*NQS (197.775+197.55+197.825+197.825+197.675)÷5=197.73

LSU
197.3 (Low)
197.65 (A)
197.55
196.6 (A)
198
197.3 (A)
198.05 (High)

AVG (197.3+197.65+197.55+196.6+198+197.3+198.05)÷7=197.49

*NQS (197.65+197.55+196.6+198+197.3)÷5=197.42

*NQS takes each team’s top six scores, (with at least three being away meets), drops the highest score, and averages the remaining five.
