Give me the early game for the same reasons we wanted to play early in the regional. More rest and we can scout who we'll be playing based on the result of our game.

With Wake Forest in LSU bracket I think LSU vs UT/USM winner is going to get the 1pm game.
Matchups will dictate how TV wants to do it. I think LSU/Tennessee matchup would be night game & LSU/Southern Miss matchup would be day.

They're going to put Stanford in the 6pm spot since they're a West Coast team, but I can see ESPN wanting to promote their MLB Draft prospects list and put Skenes/Crews in primetime.
Texas/Wake will most certainly be a 1pm.

I'm wondering if a Friday start hinders Skenes going game 1. I think you pitch him Game 1 and get a win. Curios to see if Jay will throw Hurd game 1 if we start on Friday. Hopefully we just play Saturday and Skenes is on schedule.

Nah, he would be on 5 days rest. He's done that a few times this year.

Stanford played the Saturday afternoon game last year. Them being a West Coast team means nothing in regards to when they play.

Oral Roberts, TCU, Florida, Virginia will start Friday.
OPINION
I'm guessing Oral Roberts vs. TCU will be 1 pm Friday, and Florida/Virginia will play 6 pm Friday.

Skeens may have the juice to get LSU in the prime time game. If it's LSU v. Tenn that game will be 7pm.

Yes, but I don't really think it's set yet. Which is disturbing, as people are likely making travel arrangements based on it. It just makes more sense for bracket 1 to start on Saturday since our supers started on Saturday. I don't know, we will see.
