Let’s be honest, Manning looked great at the end of last year.

These people have no football IQ. Arch was on fire the last half of the season and has more weapons around him this season.

They've got a solid roster with a lot of returning pieces. They should have a decent season and be in contention for the title.

Oh, and they have former NFL players on their roster. That's a huge advantage, or so I've been told.

Yea, they're a scary team heading into this year. If they can stay healthy, they'll have as good a chance as anyone in the country to win it all.

They had a guy tell everyone they were back that one time, so they’re back.

23-6 record (13-3 in the SEC) over the past 2 years…

Also had the easiest conference schedule each of those past 2 seasons.

Not so fast my friend.

Manning was hot the second half of the year, has another year of training under his belt, and has weapons all around him. They have the boosters to pay, the players to play, and a coaching staff that has been be revamped to lead that defense. Muschamp isn't the best head coach, but is a great DC.

Texas beats Ohio State at home this year.

Over those 2 seasons they’ve played, Ohio State 2x, Michigan, OU 2x, UGA 3x, Clemson, ASU, Vandy 2x, A&M 2x

Conference schedule. One of those UGA games was the SECCG. 0-3 vs them. No LSU, no Bama, no Ole Miss. let’s not pretend that A&M and Vandy are powerhouses. A loss to Florida.

Recruited Manning from Louisiana would be a start.

Exactly. They are Texas. Big media market like the Midwest and the media infatuation with Notre Dame.

That’s fine. I don’t done why you are limiting it to conference schedule though. Those other games still matter.

Its just Texas. Its been that way. I was born and raised in Texas and my dad showed me how U of Texas was always given special favors on and off the field (especially during the Daryl Royal era). They are like Alabama, except with more money.

Actually Arch was very mixed in the second half of the year. He played well against Miss. St. and Arkansas (2 very poor defenses) and Vandy (a very average defense), played very poorly against Kentucky and played very average against Georgia and A&M.
