Actually Arch was very mixed in the second half of the year. He played well against Miss. St. and Arkansas (2 very poor defenses) and Vandy (a very average defense), played very poorly against Kentucky and played very average against Georgia and A&M.

Watch all 12 OU games (as I did unfortunately) and tell me Sharp is a good blocker. He's not. He's a real liability in the run game and in pass blocking. I seriously doubt Kelly really believes what he just said. Maybe he'll become serviceable as a blocker with another year and in another system, but he has a long way to go.

Sharp dropped some passes this year but he's a good athlete (nice size and speed) who has potential as a pass catcher. I think he'd do well in a good passing offense unlike the abysmal passing offense he played in this season at OU. On the other hand he's an awful blocker - the worst blocker on the team by a wide margin. He's not an inline TE - should only be used split out.
