I also have a friend whose sone was killed by a lightning strike while riding dirt bikes with a friend.

It's not. I remember not wearing seat belts either. FYI, about 300 kids a year- that's almost 1 a day- die as a result of a head injury while riding a bike.

This. Education and knowledge (and common sense) does not equal woke.
Now back to the rain delays. It’s to cover their asses in this lawsuit society we live in. They don’t care if you stay in the stadium during lightning. They care that they put up a message on the Jumbotron to take shelter. Saves them a billion dollars in the chance some people do get struck.
And can we please stop using woke for everything? Stop letting the talking mouthpieces on TV keep you angry and hateful all day. We are all humans just making it to the next day.
