I’m surprised we didn’t hear more on that. I love to see the gutsy call by our coach. BK would have ran it up the gut and we know what Les would have called. It was refreshing seeing such a creative call.

It was an outstanding play call, and everyone did a great job. Especially Harris selling the block, and the fake handoff. Everyone on D was suckered in.
Wish we could have saved it until Bama or Texas, but it absolutely had a huge impact in this game... I'm sure we can work off of it now that opponents will have to watch tape on it, we can mix it up a little or it will keep defense more honest in 4th and shorts.

Brian Kelly would have been out of that game in the first quarter.

Definitely knew something big was coming out of that formation at some point. LK is a master at setting up a big play. Gave me some serious 4th down DeAngelo Petersen vs Bama vibes.

Kiffin said in his post game presser that he almost punted, but said something like “that’s not who we are/that’s not how we coach” and let ‘er rip.
Jackson Harris said it was a great play all week in practice and when they called it, he knew it was going to be a TD.

Not gonna lie. I thought he was being a bit conservative for him and not himself up until that point. It made me wonder if he was a bit tight or “scared” since it was early and it’s a bigger job, with a QB he might not trust.

Was also just an absolutely beautiful pass by Leavitt. Dropped it right in the bucket, yeah it was wide open but he put it on the money.
