Been asking, but nobody provides a credible link to LSU AD or anyone at LSU about this $90M.

Got a link?

You know, I need a new work truck and It’s 80k. I think that’s ridiculous, so I offered them 40k. Those mfkers said no and sold it to someone else! I waited for them to take the 40, but they keep selling trucks to other people.
I finally bought a used truck for 25k, it breaks a lot and I am losing a ton of business, probably down 50%, but I saved money.

Graves’ net worth is $22 billion. I’m sure he’d have no issues paying off Kiffin if he doesn’t do well and offer the next coach 120

Why do you care what billionaires spend money on?

Since you know all the details, what’s the guarantee on Kiffin’s?
Considering LSU is trying to pry Lane away from a playoff bound team that’s willing to match LSU’s offer…on top of Florida trying to get him too, I’d say its a pretty safe bet that whatever LSU is offering would be damn near fully guaranteed.

Only difference from BK is that it would be a 7 year contract, not 10 years. So by year 4 if he’s failing, you only have to buyout 3 years left on the deal instead of 6

You’re blaming the entire state and its government for what a handful of boosters are paying for with their own money. This may be the worst post I’ve ever seen here. You should delete this.

There’s nothing to learn. Winning takes money, lots of it. Keeping Kelly because of the buyout is what’s known in economics as sunk cost fallacy

It seems we are hiring Kiffin ( possibly ) for some of the same reasons Kelly was hired. They have won a truckload of games but just couldn’t quite get over the hump due to where they were coaching! Hopefully it works out better this time!

What’s the alternative? Just don’t have a coach?

That’s market value for coaches a big programs.

From their costly mistakes. I do not know why, but, Louisiana CLOWNS think that you win a natty every year. It's a 98 Million dollar gamble. Both Kiffin and LSU better get ready because they will go through exactly the same thing that LSU and Kelly went through.
It's completely illogical to assume the same results for 2 coaches because they were paid similarly.

Sumrall is getting a $10 million offer from Florida for what? He’s won no games in a power 5 conference in his life. Lane has 50 wins in 5 years at perennial doormat Ole Miss. Sit down and be quiet.

The way you explained it… LSU would be on the hook for the same money or more for 3 years instead of six .., deal basically the same than
