If this is true (and it certainly reads like it could be true), there is something very large beneath the reason to bring shame to the program. In all seriousness, what is it? Is got to be something either extremely petty or a perceived economic/power shift isue.

SEC is trying to say face and LSU better not cave even the slightest bit to it.
Honestly, the best thing the SEC can do to save face is quietly drop the suit. It is a joke of a premise. That's why LSU is like "keep going, retards" and feels unthreatened by the lawsuit.
If anything, LSU will wipe the floor with the SEC as it progresses.
The SEC would also look like scorned butthurt bitches if they try to punish LSU at this late stage. Now, that doesn't mean much as far as guessing what they'll do because they are in fact being led by a couple of scorned bitches (Sankey and Tennessee wench).

And see my post above. The SEC wants this to come from LSU because they know what it'd look like in the media. The media would be like, "damn, y'all still trying to figure out how to get Lane." Screams unprofessional and petty.
I'd love to see *any* kind of SEC precedent where a coach was suspended for wisecracking during an on the field interview.

It's American politics.
This isn't an attack on Kiffin...it's an attack on Landry (aka Trump). It's an attack on an institution that has reversed course on DEI.
If you are arguing the merit of bringing two kids on a roster under a TRO, you are just arguing with yourself.

I understand what you’re trying to say, but litigation doesn’t quite work this way. In reality, the motion to dismiss is unlikely to be granted. Now the lawsuit is meritless and will eventually go away, but things don’t work quite as cleanly as you are laying out.

Meanwhile ole miss has a heisman level 6th year QB that was ruled ineligible and overruled by a local Mississippi judge. Allowed because ole miss acted like little bitches when kiffin left and the SEC felt sorry for them.
