Losing Spears and Green was massive

An already anemic passing attack loses their one true weapon.
CJ Jimcoily #31 replacing Spears was an abject disaster. Once they scrapped the star and went nickel with Thomas, the defense got better.

Green hurts. I think we can get through Spears. Defense played better after he went down. Nonetheless, prayers for them both.

I could argue that losing Spears was more devastating than Green in this game.

Spears being out cost LSU a TD on that last play before the half

Wrong. He went down early. The defense was good the first two drives. Even giving up the FG on the 2nd was mostly due to an ticky penalty. We made them work and kept them out of the end zone.

You want to know why Kiffing wanted wright and Thomas???
They would have been absolute game changers especially wright.
