The officials influence outcomes, there is no debate. 5 years ago that BS false start/time out scenario would have had synced video showing when the false start occurred versus when the time out was called. Now with conferences, networks, and gambling companies all in bed with each other you get nothing more than ‘Kiffin may have a point’ from the announcers. There has always been a thumb on the scale at the margins, but this is blatant in your face rigging of outcomes.

Pink Floyd wrote a song called “Money”. And it’s the most fitting song to everything we see today. Nothing worth millions is not NOT going to be fricked with and tainted.

Always take the points. I feel as though they are letting the underdogs win more to keep ratings up

What was the flag thrown for? Because they threw a flag. If it was for a false start there is ZERO chance they got a TO before that guy flinched.

Tonight was bad.

The punt return..the holding on Prince drew a flag..in the defensive secondary.

Literally tackling defensive players on almost every snap.

Of course the “false start” that never was..

It’s the WWE…hate it but the more I watch the more I’m convinced.

It’s all fake and controlled

NIL leveled the playing field to an extent. The big boys can’t just stockpile 4 star recruits on the depth chart because those players will go play for the underdog where they can get playing time plus an NIL bag at the same time. Not as easy to easy to pitch a highly recruited player to be the backup for 2 years on a title contender when he can go collect a big payday somewhere else

So now those players who would previously have provided depth on a blue blood end up signing with the underdog programs. Makes upsets more common between better talent on the underdog and the powerhouse programs being more vulnerable to the injury bug from less depth

What’s weird is pro sports are worse. Money in the Bank in NOLA had more integrity than the NFL will have tomorrow. Inexplicable calls happen every weekend in college and the pros, and that’s with replay (I.e. Western Michigan). This past year we had nba players colluding on prop bets. It’s terrible and honestly as much as I love watching college and pro football I think I’ll be hunting/golfing more this year.

The rules of football at every level are whatever the referees say that are at any given moment.

It was at least deniable for a long time.

No more.

I quit the nfl after the saints no call.

Tonight might be the end for college football for me.

Refs had a clear agenda. Stop any LSU momentum, assist any Kentucky momentum.
