Can we all agree on this? Just give Lane 1 more year with SL. This could be Burrow level jump from 18 to 19.

Nah Sammy Turnovers can go

Lane needs a QB that will protect the football in clutch situations

Leading the country in turnovers isn’t a fluke

I sure like him better when he is a throw first run second QB....What a change from the early games. I guess we owe it to a bad hamstring, but he is waaaay better player today than his first games at LSU.

Yeah I'd love to have SL for another year.

I like Leavitt. Does he need to throw it away at times instead of forcing a ball? Yes, but he is good.

What if Kamario wants out of State? And he likely will...

That being said I'm fully on board with Leavitt and havent wavered on that. Kid is a warrior and a baller.

Yeah he definitely needs to clean it up, but I would welcome him back in a second.

I agree, but I'm still holding out that Chambliss wants to play a 7th year with LK. Just need to find the right judge, I guess. I can't think of anything that would blow Sankey's mind, and that would be glorious.

I'm joking of course.

Him and the receivers in year 2 of this offense, with a full spring practice leading up to next year will help tremendously. He had a short spring, new offense for all of the players, and has shown he can be great, but just needs to be consistent, trust his arm, and take care of the ball. Hes got better numbers than Joe and Jayden in their first year starting.

Understood but we need continuity and SL is starting to get it. Whatever it is, you can see the pieces starting to slowly come together. Give him someone who can take the top off that is at least 6'2 with a nastier OL and this could be special.

His accuracy has improved a lot since the beginning of the year. He needs to calm down in pressure situations and not try and do too much.

Absolutely. He didn’t get any time to build chemistry with his receivers in the offseason due to injury.

Plus remember the jump in play with Burrow and Daniels between year 1 and 2 in the SEC.

Offense will be elite next year. We have a solid core to build around.

Leavitt, Jones, Harris, Watkins + other transfer portal playmakers.

No. He’s not leaving. Deep roots at State. He stays with State

Yes. Leavitt in second year will make a leap like Burrow and Daniels did.
