Hearing the dueling bands is really annoying

When did it become acceptable for bands to constantly play at the same time? I thought it was pretty understood that you dont play at the same time?

I have no clue how big or small their band is. Im merely mentioning that when watching on tv, you hear both equally.

I was in band and not only am i not offended, i agree. Part of the issues is they are not mike’d up right so you’re hearing a few isolated glaring horns more than others. But i hate it. Makes a high level
