He's his son.
Granted, what he said was a bit strange but he's his son. Of course he's going to cheer for him.

He probably called his dad after the game and was all like, “Dad! Did you see me on TV tonight?”
Makes ya wonder if he was at the game in a suite or something.
This is really just a weird f’n deal all around. Probably nbd for Bri. He thrives when he’s surrounded by toxicity.
