In the 6 quarters that the starting defense has played, have they given up 100 total yards?

I think around 85. And 3 points after an offensive turnover where they didnt allow a first down.

Wait, what? I thought Lane was only an offensive genius? How is this so?

JK

Baker is doing a great job! Hope he can be retained for a while. Dude has moved around a good bit building his resume. I could see the NFL come calling, but he makes a damned fine living on what he's paid at LSU, already.

They are elite. Look at how many sacks we have.

This defense plays most of the game in the backfield.

Agreed, it has been a few years since we have had multiple disruptive, athletic defenders at every level - DL, LB, DB. This D communicates well, plays with discipline, tackles well, and plays superb complimentary defensive football. Do your job, win your assignment and great things will continue to happen.

Yes and just shut down a team that scored 80 last week. I am aware of the opponent but if you hang 80 your doing something right.

Glad to see good defense but lets wait until after ole piss and atm games to legitimately say one way or the other. I know we cant win every single play on defense but Clemson and Tech O's were awful.

Tech scored 80 the previous week.

Not saying they are world beaters, but a bad offense doesn’t score 80 vs air.
