He did it last year as well. What Pat McAfee does on College Gameday has nothing to do with what songs the band will play in Tiger Stadium tonight.

Part of me wants to believe that they still practice Neck, and are just waiting for the perfect time to play it. I realize that’s pretty unrealistic but hey you never know.

They definitely still practice it. Reminder that the band does other things outside of LSU football games…

I would shocked if the band members didn’t know neck. Officially practiced or not, those guys know it (or they at least should)

No doubt. I bet they play it during practice when the leaders aren't paying attention. As tough as it is to hear for pearl clutchers and kids, its a tradition. I have 2 girls that are 10 and 13 and I still get it. It is what it is.

Mine are 4 and 1. The toddler is in the "repeat everything mom and dad say" phase. My wife's an OU fan, and I used to say it to her all the time, buuuut I had to cut that out
