I love that for us but am I the only one that dislikes players reclassifying? To me it just loses a year of development for them and except in rare cases it detrimental to the athlete.

Hey that's some awesome news. Is he the one that's supposed to be the best of the brothers?

Bert, he is probably too old for his current grade to begin with.

All the brothers will get to play on the same college team together. That has to be a first at an SEC program! Congrats to the Weeks family. Proud day for sure!

Not too excited that he's reclassified. I'm also for kids getting that 4th year of HS to grow physically, develop, and to just enjoy the high school experience of being a senior. These are memories you will never get back. Why rush your life when you don't have to?

Gets to play with his brothers, pretty cool experience wise I'd imagine.

Have they reranked him yet?

If this was a major part of the decision then I have a little more understanding for it. I just feel like kids are in too much of a hurry these days and should wait as long as possible to start their college eligibility clock.

He gets to go to college and potentially play with both of his brothers at the same time. You take that opportunity. He wouldn't have that chance if he came in 2026

Reclassifying does suck, but who knows the rules in 5 years? Maybe by then, all these guys will be employees and can play as long as they are still a student and people will be playing into their 30s. It's just different now.

Hopefully its a Jefferson situation and the youngest one is the best one...

If he gets renamed to Walt, then I'm good with his commitment.

Georgia had triplets play for them in the 90's
