He is mentioned in an article about recruiting experts having different quarterbacks in their own top ratings. Tom Lemming now has him as 8th best in the country. He is getting some more respect:

So far as who is having the best year so far from a statistical stand point, that would go to McKinney, H.S. (Texas) Zach Lee. Through a reported six games, Lee has passed for 20 TD’s, 5 interceptions and for 1,613 yards. That’s an average of 269 yards per game.

WE can judge what kind of "deal" he is after he has spent a year in the pocket against SEC teams. You can't until at least after his 2nd year in college.

At this point I would be happy to see a QB spend two plays in a row in the pocket

What's a pocket? Is that the imaginary space that's purported to exist while your QB stares down a primary receiver and holds the ball until he is sacked by the defense?

Lee is young and should be getting some playing time this year. I think things with him might go much better than last yar. He has a good arm and isn't afraid to let it go.

Kids got good accuracy and arm but on every single pass in that video except one, he looked right at the receiver he was throwing to the entire time. Very similar to Jordan Jefferson, and Matt Flynn in that regard. Hopefully we can start teaching QBs to look off the safeties. I understand this is hight school and kids are raw, but we are seeing the same types o fissues after kids are in our system for 2, 3, 4 years.
