He didn't ask if any recruits had gotten away from you personally, you dumb-dumb.

Someone mentioned Vince Young. I’m almost positive that Saban was recruiting him as a defensive back and that’s one of the reasons he chose Texas in the end but it’s been a long time.

Am I trippin or at one was it believed that LSU was the favorite to land Ed Oliver? But then family ties led him to Houston?
Don’t remember if LSU was the favorite but family ties definitely helped UH get him.

He said multiple times that LSU was his dream school but chose to stay home and rep his city by picking Houston and playing for Herman.

Dwayne Haskins. There was some talk about a possible flip from Maryland to LSU. He ended up flipping to OSU and lighting up the Big 10.

Since I've kept up with recruiting, Collins and Cam Rob hurt me the most. Cam Rob because he was a huge position of need, and Collins because of the way he did it, and I feel like it really knocked over the dominoes for future guys getting away.
But did LSU recruit Ed Reed? 1st ballot HoFer leaving New Orleans has to hurt.

I always wonder what would've happened in 2011 had Zach Lee stuck around.....

That's the one that kept LSU in a quarterback tailspin and the mad hatter would still have his job at LSU.
